OUR PHILOSOPHY

In Greece, we know how to respect tradition and adopt its values. A long time ago, people in Epirus traditionally celebrated and honored the hard work that was put into the farms and the grasslands, by preparing a family table where everyone shared freely their life stories and experiences. By collectively enjoying the meal that was prepared with love and care, people were developing strong family ties.

Salvia Restaurant, is an award winning culinary haven showcasing the rich gastronomic tradition of the local area. Named after the indigenous herb Salvia, known for its medicinal and aromatic properties in the Zagori area, the restaurant seamlessly blends local products with innovative recipes, creating dishes that tantalize the senses.

THE ARISTI FARM

Aristi Mountain Resort & Villas' farm features a glass greenhouse, an organic vegetable garden, a stone oven, and a patio with a breathtaking view. The greenhouse nurtures seasonal produce for year-round kitchen use. Between November and February, dishes showcase spinach, arugula, endive, lettuce, broccoli, parsley, and celery. From March to October, the offerings feature tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, basil, and coriander.

COOKING WORKSHOP

For those seeking a culinary adventure, Aristi Mountain Resort & Villas offers cooking classes at The Aristi Farm. Under the guidance of a skilled chef, guests have the opportunity to prepare a full meal featuring three local dishes. The experience involves using freshly harvested organic ingredients from the greenhouse and locally sourced products, providing participants with a hands-on culinary journey.

GREENHOUSE BRUNCH

Guests are invited to savor a gourmet brunch on the hotel's patio, where the menu highlights seasonal production from the on-site garden. The experience includes the delight of indulging in the traditional Zagori pie, freshly baked in the Greenhouse stone oven. Breakfast favorites include pastries, local eggs, and freshly picked fruits, while guests can also indulge Greek desserts such as pasteli, mantolato, and halva.

PRIVATE DINING

Aristi Mountain Resort & Villas provides a luxurious private dining experience, combining refined food with tranquility. Guests can savor the rich flavors from the restaurant's menu amid the stunning backdrop of the eastern wall of Vikos Gorge and Astraka mountain peak.
