PHOTOGRAPHY TOURS
Zagori is one of the most photogenic places in Greece and Europe. With its unique terrain, wide range of altitude (from 400 to almost 2500 meters above sea level), exceptional biodiversity and magnificent architectural heritage, the photographic exploration of Zagori's 1000 km2 could take a lifetime.
The tours are aimed at visitors with any level of knowledge and experience of photography. For the best results, guests are recommended to use a camera with manual settings and RAW format capabilities, DSLR or Mirrorless ILC. However, this is not essential. Carrying a tripod is also recommended, as it will help guests to create better quality images and allows higher control over framing and composition.
BIRDWATCHING
GET TO KNOW THE AMAZING WORLD OF BIRDS THROUGH AN ADVENTUROUS TOUR AROUND THE WILD NATURE OF ZAGORI
The famously known nature of Zagori is part of the Northern Pindos National Park, which hosts a large variety of bird species. The shifting habitats of the area, such as the alpine meadows, the gorges, the oak and coniferous forests, are one of the main reasons that allow us to observe at least 140 different bird species throughout the year.
Are you ready to equip yourselves with a pair of binoculars and a fieldscope and join us in our search for the Golden Eagle on the mountaintop of Tymphe?
Are you ready to wander between the forests and seek out the sounds and movements of passerines, such as the Blue Tit or the Subalpine Warbler?
Whether you are new to birdwatching or more experienced, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning bird life of the area by choosing amongst our proposed routes.
